- "Fly By" Schedule Walk on August 6th from 5:00-7:00 pm
- "Fish Camp" Freshman Orientation/"Fly By" Schedule Walk on August 7, 2026
We are excited to invite your student to Freshman Orientation (Fish Camp) at the RHHS 9th Grade Campus. This event is a great opportunity for students to get acclimated to high school and meet peers, upperclassmen leaders, and staff. We will also be hosting a Parent Session: Parents are invited to a special session hosted by Dr. Chandler, Principal, at 9:30 a.m. in the GBCCA Lecture Hall after dropping off students.
Please Note: No schedule changes will take place until after the first few days of school. In the meantime, you are welcome to complete the Schedule Change Request form at https://bit.ly/H9schedule.
Schedules will only be changed for one of the following reasons:
- Missing a class period
- Scheduled into a course that they have already received credit for
- Duplicate course on schedule
Priority will be given to students who have completed summer school classes, errors on schedules, and conflicts with extracurricular activities. Counselors will review requests, however changing electives is not an option due to limited availability. The number of available seats in each course was based on student course requests that were completed last spring, therefore most changes will not be able to be honored. Students wishing to make a level change from an honors course to an on-level course (or from an AP to honors course) will need to remain in the class for the first six weeks of school. A level change form and the process involved with that will be made available the second week of school.
