Welcome to H9! The counselors are so excited to meet the Class of 2029!
We would like to share some information regarding processes for the first few days of school. For new students not enrolled and scheduled before the first day of school (8/12/2025), enrollment will be paused until Thursday, 8/14. We want to ensure that all students have as much opportunity as possible to enroll in the courses they would like to take. Please understand that in some courses, seating is limited. Postponing enrollment could allow for spots to open up in otherwise full courses, allowing students more choice.
For the same reasons mentioned above, no schedule changes will take place the first few days of school. In the meantime, you are welcome to complete the Schedule Change Request form at bit.ly/H9schedules. Priority will be given to students who have completed summer school classes, errors on schedules, and conflicts with extracurricular activities. Counselors will review requests, however changing electives is not an option due to limited availability. The number of available seats in each course was based on student course requests that were completed last spring, therefore most changes will not be able to be honored.
Schedules will only be changed for one of the following reasons:
- Missing a class period
- Scheduled into a course that they have already received credit for
- Duplicate course on schedule
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we aim to ease the transition into high school and start the year on a positive note. We are here to serve our students and families! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us throughout the year with anything we can assist you or your student with.
