TMEA All-State Choir Members

Each Fall, more than 70,000 Texas high school students begin the rigorous All-State audition process. From this talented pool, only 1,810 are chosen to rehearse and perform in one of 18 prestigious Texas All-State ensembles at the annual TMEA Clinic/Convention.

On Saturday, January 11th, Heath Choir achieved an extraordinary milestone, FIVE of our students were selected for the Texas All-State Choir! They will perform at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio this February. To put this accomplishment into perspective, Heath High School has never had more than one student make the All-State Choir in a single year, and only four students total have ever been selected in the school's history. Congratulations to seniors, Lexie B., Elise K., Addie R., junior Emily F.; and sophomore Noah B.!

We are beyond proud of these exceptional students and their dedication to excellence. Go Hawks!

Teen Safety Presentations

The Children’s Advocacy center recently visited our campus to share with students important teen safety information. The Program empowers students to spot and respond to bullying, cyberbullying, the four types of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, neglect), relationship abuse, digital abuse, and other digital dangers. Most importantly, it teaches that adults are responsible for their safety but there are things they can do to help adults keep them safe.
