Rockwall ISD proudly announces that the Rockwall-Heath High School band wind ensemble and percussion ensemble have been invited to perform at the prestigious 2026 Music for All National Festival in Indiana.

Rockwall-Heath High School’s own Gennie Holcomb has been named the 2026 Region 10 Secondary Teacher of the Year, a prestigious honor recognizing her unwavering dedication, leadership, and impact in the classroom and beyond.

This past Saturday the Rockwall ISD Law Students participated in the Regional Texas Public Safety Teacher Association (TXPSTA) Law Competition. The following students will now move on to the state competition in Houston in February.
2nd Place - Felony Traffic Stop team coached by H9 Law teacher Ms. Hasenyager
3rd Place - Crime Scene Investigation team including H9 student Madeline S.
3rd Place - Building Search team including H9 students Presli B. and Paige S.
We are very proud of our freshmen students and the hard work they have put in over the past several months to prepare for this competition! Good luck at State!

Our Girls Basketball team finished first place at the Wills Point tournament this past week improving to an 11-2 overall record!

H9 students participated in a school-wide Teacher Appreciation activity designed by one of our Education & Training students for her Area Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) competition. Layla showcased her “Appreciation Station” project, inviting classmates to express their gratitude by writing handwritten notes to their teachers. Best of luck at competition, Layla!
